Description

FFmpeg is a complete, cross-platform solution to record, convert and stream audio and video. It includes libavcodec - the leading audio/video codec library. This add-on is an enhanced version of the FFmpeg tools shipping with the ReadyNAS. The main difference is that this version includes some encoders to allow the converting and saving of video streams.

Requirements

• ReadyNAS Platform: Intel
• ReadyNAS Firmware: RAIDiator 4.2.16 or newer

Required by

• KMotion (optional, only needed if you want to save Shockwave videos instead of single frame movies)

Known Limitations

• This add-on only contains the updated FFmpeg libraries for the versions found on the ReadyNAS. It does not contain a full installation of FFmpeg.
